Charity Support From Hargreaves Garages
World's Biggest Coffee Morning & Wear It Pink Day
Local Vauxhall retailer, Hargreaves Garages, is thanking customers and staff for their fundraising support by raising over £450 during two recent charity events.
The retailer, with sites in Morecambe and Kendal, raised over £100 for Breast Cancer Research with a ‘Wear it Pink Day’, which saw all the members of staff coming to work dressed from head to toe in pink!
Plus, staff at the retailer in Morecambe invited customers to join them for the ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support, raising over £350 for the cause. The coffee morning included a cake sale plus tea and coffee with kind donations from both staff and customers contributing to the grand total.
Stephen Hargreaves, Managing Director from Hargreaves Garages, comments: “We are always keen to support a good cause and I am pleased with the success of our two most recent fundraising events.
“I would like to thank all of our customers and staff for their hard work and kind donations which together helped us to raise an impressive amount for charity in the last month alone. What’s more, customers who attended the Macmillan Coffee Morning at Hargreaves Garages in Morecambe were invited to enter an exclusive prize draw to receive a £250 voucher, redeemable against any new Vauxhall Corsa.
