Meet the Team

Stephen is the retail operator of the Kendal branch

David joined us straight from school back in 1983 and has worked in all departments. His first job was as parts assistant, then progressed swiftly into service and then gained the title of After sales Manager. David became a Director of the company in 1992 and progressed to Retail Operator at Morecambe in 1997.

His vast knowledge of the whole business is key and he states this as one of the main reasons why people come back to us time and time again. Customers trust us, whether it is fixing their car or selling them a new model.

If you can't find David at the dealership (which is rare), you will more than likely find him on the golf course or being the Dad taxi for his two children.

Russ has been working in the Sales Department at Hargreaves Gararages for the past 14 years.

Russ started out as a Trainee Sales Consultant and has worked his way up the chain and now has the task of looking after all vehicle sales across our two brands Vauxhall and Chevrolet.

In his spare time Russ likes to spend time with his family, normally running after his two children.

Chris joined Hargreaves Garages as trainee Sales Consultant in 2002 and worked his way up to the Sales Manager role in 2005.
He looks after New and Used vehicle sales at our Kendal dealership with the help of his team.

Chris likes to spend his spare time with his wife and three sons, Chris also fronts a local Rock band at weekends.

Martin aims to make sure all our aftersales customers are completely satisfied with their experience at Hargreaves Garages, and to repair and maintain their vehicle to the highest standard while offering a competitive price.

Martin has worked for Hargreaves Garages for 22 years and hasdone many different job roles. Martin started as a trainee car salesman and then went on to work in the parts department. Martin was Parts Manager for 5 years before taking up his current role as Aftersales Manager in 1998

Mick ensure we exceed all expectations of our customers and that they are completely satisfied with the Service they receive.

Mick has 26 years motor trade experience, 16 years as technician and 10 years in Aftersales.

Julie is the senior parts advisor for our Morecambe branch

Lindsey works at both our Kendal and Morecambe branches preparing the company accounts with the help of a hard working team of staff.

Lindsey qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1988. Two of her previous employers were Pilkington Glass and K Shoes, however Lindsey have spent the last 15 years working in the motor trade.

Leila has a BA (Hons) degree in Applied Print- textiles. Leila is one of our newest members of staff who directs all calls in to the dealership.
